Responsibilities:
- Participate in the evaluation, implementation, and deployment of processes & capabilities to advance hybrid-cloud strategy for KBR’s customers
- Work in team environment to implement hybrid-cloud solutions
- Work closely with the architects and engineers to design networks, systems, and storage environment that effectively reflect business needs, security requirements, and service level requirements for KBR’s customers
- Participate in a cross functional team environment to provide troubleshooting and support around core cloud infrastructure
Required Skills / Experience:
- Proficient in developing scripts using scripting languages
- General knowledge in the use of Linux
- Familiarity with DevOps & CI/CD concepts and tools
- Familiarity with code repositories
- General knowledge of AWS or other cloud services
- Proven ability to work across teams in a distributed environment
- Effective verbal and written communication
- The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong aptitude to learn and passion for problem solving
- Three years of continuous residency in the United States
Preferred Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or Engineering preferred
- Experience with AWS cloud solution development
- Proficient in the use of Linux
- Proficient in the use of Python
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
